Dual extract tinctures are a combination of bioactive compounds that have been extracted from a mushroom fruiting body by using an alcohol solvent and a hot water distillation process.
Many of the beneficial compounds found in mushrooms are locked away behind a protective barrier known as chitin (pronounced kai-tin).
Chitin is a strong protective polymer that fungi and animals like crabs use to protect themselves.
Our stomachs are not strong enough to completely break through this protective layer so in order for the beneficial compounds to be absorbed into our bodies they need to be extracted from the mushroom.
Some bioactive nutrients in mushrooms are water soluble and others are alcohol soluble.
When we combine the two, we create a powerful medicine with the full spectrum of beneficial compounds and a distillation of the character and spirit that each mushroom has to offer.
Our tinctures are concentrated in liquid form for quick and effective absorption and daily ease of use.
In tincture form, these medicines can be easily added to coffees, teas, smoothies and foods.
Feel free to take it straight too. Simply use the dropper and place some under the tongue. Hold for a few seconds, and then swallow.
We recommend using at least 1ml (two dropper squirts) per day.
Dosages should be measured at your discretion. Feel free to add more or go with less.
Discontinue use if you notice any negative side effects.
Recommended Dosage for all of our products:
2-4 squirts (1-2ml) per day.
If you feel like you need more, take more.
If you feel like you need less, don’t stress.
